The course focuses on advanced small-molecule NMR (B. Luy), 3D NMR spectroscopy of proteins (S. Grzesiek) and solid-state NMR of proteins (M. Hong). It covers NMR theory and methodology. Lectures are followed by exercises to solve practical problems.

Topics include:

• • NMR theory (density matrix and product operator formalism)
  • Description of pulse sequences
  • Multidimensional and multinuclear NMR

The speakers have agreed to contribute free-of-charge, ANZMAG is sponsoring generously.

The total charge per participant is AUD 785, covering full board and lodging. The course will start on Sunday evening (13 August) with a get-together and the first lecture first thing on Monday morning. It will end on Sunday late morning (20 August).
Participation is limited to 20 registrants (PhD students, post-docs, academics) with prior knowledge of NMR.
